Newt’s Long March.

May 22, 2011

It’s going to be a long road for our friend Newt Gingrich, as he sets off down that long, lonesome presidential campaign trail. The campaigning is brutal under the best of circumstances, but the remnants of the Lame Stream press, in sync with DeMarxist union thuggery, are going to make this an especially politically-bloody gauntlet which every Republican / Conservative candidate will be forced to run.

The left has its knives out, and with the boorishness which has exemplified the behavior of the left thus far you can be assured that wives and children will not be spared. Newt comes into this race with some old ‘infidelity’ issues which should be history, but are now being exposed all over again with the Schwarzenegger revelation. Fair or not, it’s going to be hashed out all over again.

To say that Newt stepped in it last weekend is giving a new meaning to the term ‘understatement’. Newt has spent all week doing damage control… some of it sounded convincing.

I mentioned that I had a real problem with the direction I had seen some of Newt’s thinking taking, at least through his public utterances. He sounded like he wasn’t in sync with the movement of the country into Constitutional Patriotism… his early criticisms of the Tea Party Patriots have not been forgotten. Neither have we forgotten Mr Gingrich and ‘Nancy-of-the-smiling-eyes-Pelosi’ sitting there and telling us we had to find solutions for ‘climate change‘. I guess Newt has us all pegged as deniers.

Newt Gingrich has a powerful intellect. I’m just not sure about his focus… or his critical judgment.

Meg, Use The Force.

November 1, 2010

Methinks the lady may be listening to her ‘political advisers’ and not the little voice within… the same skills she used in building eBay to the internet star that it is.

Californians understood and agreed when she told us how important small business and creative start-ups are to the growth of the state and the nation, and how runaway taxation and regulation is forcing businesses away from California. We agreed when she said that the state had to be brought to fiscal sanity.

Then, about a week ago, we started to see ads in which Meg appears to be saying that the state can’t be run like a business. C’mon, Meg! What the heck…?! You’d better fire those clowns and go with your gut feelings, your instincts… use the ‘force’, Meg.

This state’s economy went south starting with that prodigy of leftist goofball politics, Jerry Brown. Grey Davis then came to haunt us, and finally Arnold SchwartzenKennedy-Shriver to deliver the coup de grace to an already crippled state economy.

BB (before Brown) California was the largest business in the world, with a state government that was in partnership with business in world trade and a business model that was the envy of the world.

Under successive far left liberal governments in Sacramento we’ve experienced wave after wave of business and personal taxation, under the thin guise of fees paid to state and municipal governments. Fees, that were they examined in the light of the Constitution, would be found to be illegal. Much of what has transpired in our state houses and in our Federal government has had little enough to do with regard to the Constitution.

This state is a business… it’s a failing business… a badly failing business, and what’s needed is what would be asked of any executive coming in and being asked to rescue a distressed firm. Analyze strengths and weaknesses, cut unnecessary expenses, cut back on non-critical personnel, re-negotiate new labor contracts and re-establish the brand of the company… in our case, that’s the state.

You have to prove to the nation and the world that California once again fosters business and welcomes investment with business-friendly environments.
Meg, stick to fundamentals and forget the phony side-show guys.

The Golden State Of Shambles.

June 2, 2010

My, how time flies when you’re having fun. Ever since the steam-rolling of the health care bill by the Congressional DeMarxists, the rapid growth of the American Conservative movement caught everyone, but especially the DeMarxists, by surprise…to those critics who sagely counseled that the Tea Party phenomenon was but a momentary glitch on the political landscape. They have been proven wrong by several orders of magnitude. The debris of Conservative Republican victories across the DeMarxist landscape is a not so mute testimony to the growing strength and influence of the burgeoning Conservative movement.

Poizner and Whitman

The California primary is on June 8. California, to put it succinctly, is a complete disaster. Arnold and that bunch of clueless commies in Sacramento have destroyed the economy of the State. I don’t see how we can avoid bankruptcy. This is such a left-leaning state, at least in the urban centers of Los Angeles and that greatest of all outdoor lunatic asylums, the San Francisco Bay Area.

Let’s face it, it’s going to be difficult for Conservatives to have a huge impact in California, though there are some Conservatives running across the state with surprising strength. The race for the Republican primary shapes up to look like a mud wrestling contest. I’ll state up front I’m not a fan of Meg Whitman, I think we’d be buying a major RINO with her. She has been spending an astonishing $500,000 a day of her own money. Looks like Meg is going to beat Steve Poizner handily. Just remember, she is no conservative!

Campbell, Fiorina, DeVore.

It’s too bad that the only candidate that has the best chance against Babes Boxer for her US Senate seat is Tom Campbell, who probably won’t win against Carly Fiorina… another mega-rich dilettante who Babes would much rather face than Campbell or Chuck DeVore, who has been running a distant third in the race.

Not the greatest lineup we’ve ever put out there, but it’s still a call to action.
Start calling all your friends and fellow patriots, to remind them that their vote is the voice of freedom.

5.7% Growth? Not Even! Dems Vote 1.9 Trillion Debt Increase.

January 31, 2010

While Obama sacrifices and ‘finds’ TWENTY BILLION DOLLARS in spending cuts…. I’d say “WHAT?!!!” – but my editor yells at me when I get redundant. The hutzpah of this bunch, from the President right on down, is BREATHTAKING. With Democrats under challenge in states all over the union you would think that Congressional Democrats would understand that a highly motivated and IRATE electorate is watching their every move with the intensity of a laboratory technician studying a virulent microorganism. Good simile though. With Illinois, like Massachusetts, no longer a guaranteed lead-pipe cinch Democrat playground.

States all over the nation are experiencing the same transformation. California’s Senator Barbara Boxer is being challenged by former Congressman Tom Campbell (R). Tom has a comfortable lead on the GOP pack but get this… he is running only FOUR POINTS behind Babs in this West Coast liberal wonderland.  For him to be this close early in the race does not bode well for Boxer. In the severely economically depressed Central Valley all GOP candidates are running ahead of her.

Tom Campbell

With the extreme left wing California Assembly about to fall upon Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s veto sword over the absolutely preposterous TWO HUNDRED BILLION DOLLAR California State Single Payer Health Care Bill now sitting in the Assembly, California with an almost 40 billion dollar budget shortfall  and the state about to declare itself out of money again, voters are likely to come out of their self-induced stupor long enough to remember that it is Democrats that are doing all this to them and that probably won’t do Boxer much good either.

FIVE POINT SEVEN PERCENT GROWTH in the GDP… and over half of it attributed to inventory replenishment,  most of that dependent on fiscal and monetary stimulus. Economist Nouriel Roubini, who predicted the  banking crash and recession, stated that the second half of this year will fade to just  1.5 % growth as stimulus dollars decline and fade away WITH NO JOB GROWTH. Watch for Obama to trumpet TEMPORARY CENSUS JOBS as a spectacular INCREASE in employment. But then we’ve seen that he’ll do or say just about anything.

California Patriots should be pounding out the faxes, emails, phone calls, letters and visits to State Assembly members’ offices – remind them that what happened in Massachusetts could happen  in California as well. Meanwhile Congressional Democrats WITHOUT a single Republican vote plunged this country ONE POINT NINE TRILLION DOLLARS FARTHER IN DEBT. Undoubtedly clearing the way for more Democrat drunken spending binges.
These people have to be stopped… It’s my job… it’s your job… IT’S OUR JOB!!
