Don’t Cave!

July 12, 2011

Well… the Republican leadership is. Leading, I mean. At least, at present. Boehner has stuck to our guns and told Obama to chew an old sock… No tax increases.

Okay, but don’t fault me for feeling a bit cautious and, truth be known, skeptical as well. I have seen the Republicans with strong hands, only to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory too many times to get giddy about this crew, in any case. John Boehner is not exactly the lion of the right, no matter how much we want him to be.

I think of Boehner and I think of back door deal-making… and the establishment ‘don’t rock the boat’ and ‘we know better than you do’ attitude that so many of us have come to detest. One of the reasons the Tea Party and Citizen Patriot movements came into being to start with.

I think perhaps Eric Cantor is a bit closer to the ‘rebellious’ freshman class. Those 71 principled patriots unexpectedly resisted the blandishments of the party hacks from both sides, and not a few threats from various sources, to become a force of their own in the 112th Congress.

But keep in mind, Eric is himself a product of the establishment, though his performance in these critical times thus far has been exemplary. I’ve heard him described as “A young man in a hurry”. Fine. As long as he tows the conservative banner with him.

Between the adamant refusal of the Conservatives to consider tax increases, ‘revenue enhancers’, or any of the other scams put forth by ObaMao’s Marxists, and the absolute blizzard, the continuing blizzard I may add, of calls, emails and visits to Republican members, even the somewhat timid, tentative Boehner seemed to stiffen up.
There’s just one thing that bothers me… there’s still plenty of time for him to roll over.

Incredibly Inept Or Incredibly Wimpy? Who’s Leading Who?

May 29, 2011

Something just isn’t right with our vaunted Republican leadership… with the exception of a few timid forays into the morass that is the DeMarxist fiscal nightmare… you’d never know that we were being governed by the Conservative juggernaut that caused the greatest political upset in decades.

Somebody ought to tell Mr Boehner that tweeting and twittering isn’t going to get it. You can’t run this thing by remote control. Tweets, twitters, Skypes and other evil sounding names may be okay for the flash dissemination of news and the like. It’s never going to take the place of a principled leadership standing up and calling the Marxists on every single lie, distortion or outright invention out of whole cloth that they utter.

That’s what leadership is about. You don’t allow the opposition to make an issue its own and then sit on your hands and hope it will go away or, like so many establishment Republicans, try to ride it out doing weak and lame-assed damage control.

The reason that the backbone of the American electorate, the Conservative Patriot movements, have been so restive and uncertain is just that. We don’t see a consistent Conservative voice getting our message out and nailing the DeMarxists by calling them out on their lies. There have been flashes of brilliance in an otherwise murky landscape.

Paul Ryan and Eric Cantor seem to be the only Republican leaders in the whole crop who get it. I’m sure there are those out there who feel that I’m painting these guys with too wide a brush.

I remind you that this is the race of our lifetimes and that in fact it will determine whether or not America shall remain a free country of free people.

We Are A Nation In Denial.

April 3, 2011

Maybe it’s something that they’ve been slipping into the water… maybe it’s in those cross-hatched contrails we keep seeing… but that’s a conspiracy theory for another day. I hear a lot of blather about how the the Tea Party Patriot movement has fired its bolt and may now retire to the obscurity that the lame stream media has been working so diligently to convince us is our lot. They’re going to be sorely disappointed.

What I see going on out here, now that I’m able to fully return my attention to the tapestry of world events, is an extremely active and motivated Patriot Movement. And what most of us are focused on is the really miserable mess in our nation’s Capitol. There’s a lot of disappointment out there… it’s discontent bordering on anger and, in some cases, it’s just outright anger.

If the Republican establishment leadership thinks it can survive, much less succeed, without the full support of the American Patriot Movement they’d better have another think. What’s really funny (or sad, depending on your outlook), is that these people have fairly convinced themselves that it was their brilliant strategic grasp of the mood of the nation that swept them to victory.

Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy and the others were given a sacred trust from well over 60% of the voters of this country. That trust came with a mandate to go to war on the deficit and the Marxist policies that are threatening to destroy our civil society. Many, if not most of us in the Patriot Movement, have been more than a little upset at the leadership’s apparent inability to frame the argument through the white noise of the left’s continual cries of Republicans wanting to force Grannie to eat dog food if we do anything at all to stem the economic disaster waiting in the hall. Let them. The American people have them figured out.

If this country is to survive we are going to have to change the ways in which we define the perils which this country faces. We are in the grip of a world conflict and we cannot even get our government to acknowledge that simple fact in spite of overwhelming evidence.

Absence of definition is the breeding ground of denial. It’s time to start calling things as they are, and stop pecking around the issues like a bunch of nervous hens.

Victory Was Only The First Battle.

December 1, 2010

While it might be tempting to stand back a little and bask in the warmth of the real victory we experienced four weeks ago, it’s just another day as far as the enemies of America are concerned.

Has anybody paid any attention to the latest crop of RINOs to emerge? How many Republicans are going to peel off and vote against the prohibition of earmarks? The sooner we know the better.

Mark Levin said that we shouldn’t waste any time primarying these as they come up for election. I agree. Let’s purge the party of those who, given the slightest chance, break invariably to the left. They’ll only let us down in tight spots. Another thing that Mark said yesterday, which rings loud and true, is that this is no time to allow the DeMarxists to change the language surrounding our issues.

This is no time for timidity on the part of our leaders. We expected warriors, not milquetoast accommodationists. We, the people of the United States, put you there. We gave you the hammer… now use it.

John Boehner and Eric Cantor have just put themselves in my spotlight. They’re actually agreeing to talk to Obama about taxing the rich. What the…?! Sorry, guys, but that just won’t hack it. There will be no compromise on tax increases, or you may as well turn in your restroom keys now. You don’t make deals with a serpent, and Obama is a snake, pure and simple.

We told you from the beginning that the price of patriot support was aggressive conservatism based on our strong values. We didn’t send you there to split hairs or principles with the DeMarxists. We sent you there for one reason and one reason only… to defeat them. To defeat them utterly, and remove the taint of Marx, Lenin and Engels from the American body politic.

The other price which we exact is scrutiny. This may be a good object lesson for the incoming class. Don’t for a second think we’re not watching you. We are, and we will be.

Now Starts The Heavy Lifting.

November 4, 2010

Barack Obama’s defeat was a crushing avalanche of voter disgust and distaste for what had been done to them for over two years… three really, because towards the end George Bush was no more responsive to the voters than the DeMarxist clown college.

The 'Dream Team'. Eric Cantor and John Boehner, expected to take over as House Majority Leader and Speaker respectively. Kevin McCarthy is expected to complete the lineup as Majority Whip.

The Marxist-leaning Democrat Congress literally spat in the eye of the American electorate… virtually daring us to do something about it, safe in the knowledge of their overwhelming superiority in both the House and Senate and carrying the totalitarian banner of their extreme leftist chief, Barack Hussein.

We warned you not to listen to the spin going into the election yesterday. The left was in full electoral disrupt mode by any means (mostly illegal) at their disposal, and their bag of dirty tricks is deep indeed. The left has no scruples whatsoever about using the type of language about our Conservative women that would have gotten them a thrashing by any real man around. But then, that seems to be something that the left has a distinct dearth of.

When you live in shadow you develop fears…the left fears many things. For instance, they must have a morbid fear of the young men and women of our armed forces. They have, despite laws to the contrary, consistently robbed our service people of their most fundamental right.

The left doesn’t build, it doesn’t create. It exists solely to usurp the body politic and resources of the country to feed its voracious and bottomless maw.

John Boehner laid out the framework pretty well. Eric Cantor reprised that with the presentation of the 20 points the New Conservative Congress will take on first. They already have the word from us, as the American patriots, that we will be observing our ‘team’ every bit as much as we shall keep an eye on the DeMarxists.

Once again, we hear the bleatings of the establishment types, telling us what we should have done and what we absolutely have to do. Okay, if you say so… but without what we Patriots did to save your sorry posteriors you’d be up a stump.

What’s going to happen is that they are going to try and dominate us and go right back to ‘getting business done as usual’. Well, we got you here and we can remove you just as easily. We’ve amply proven that. Look at some of the ‘Blue Dogs’. They got taken down simply for being Democrat.

No, you can’t dominate the Patriot movement… just as soon try and go out and herd cats. But we can, and we will dominate you.
You see, we know the dirty little secret, don’t we? The power rests with us, not you.

Bring It On! The Marxist-In-Chief Declares War On The American People.

March 26, 2010

Barack Hussein Obama has set himself and his party clearly against the great majority of the American people. I’m trying to make up my mind if it’s supreme hubris, stupidity or just ineptitude that would lead Obama to say something sure to inflame an already raging populace. Given there is some very serious and growing resistance to his agenda, you’d think he’d tone down the rhetoric somewhat.

It seems that now that the left is ginning up as much anti-patriot sentiment as they think we will swallow, they feel safe in throwing down the gauntlet. They’ll get all the resistance they can handle and more come November.

Eric Cantor

A word to the new Conservative Republican leadership. Do not allow the DeMarxist agitprop machine get ahead of us on this issue of all the ‘hate’ messages supposedly put out against the Congressional Democrats, though someone put a bullet through a window at Eric Cantor’s campaign offices. We can safely assume that that one wasn’t one of ours. The left pulls this crap all the time. Time after time our leadership has ceded the ground to them. They have to be called on their stuff… each and every time.

They pulled it with the Clinton administration and their ghost war against ‘the militias’, and because no one had the courage to call them on it a runaway Justice Dept. under an alcoholic predatory lesbian, Janet Reno, resulted in Ruby Ridge and the murders of three innocent people. Let us not forget the out and out ‘war’ waged against helpless women and children at Waco, Texas in the Branch Davidian debacle, resulting in the deaths of eighty American citizens in order to get one man.

This is what can happen if you, as our leaders, don’t make yourselves heard loud and clear. If anyone thinks there’s ten cents worth of difference between Janet Reno and Eric Holder in ruthlessness at pursuing the leftist agenda, there are still some leftover Madoff securities out there for you.

Another thing…there are some pseudo Conservatives who would attach themselves to the ‘Tea Party’ Patriot movement. We need to seek these people out and expose them. The last thing we need are more RINOs out there to sabotage the Conservative message.

Another issue which is likely to loom large in this next election cycle, and more so in 2012, will be that of ‘open primaries’. Local and state party leaders of states that allow for open primary elections should work to close them as soon as possible, lest we see a repeat of 2008 and the Democrat crossover voting which gave us John McCain, whose RINO baggage crippled a presidential bid which was already in severe trouble for Conservatives and Independents who were disillusioned by George Bush’s big government Republicans and their profligate spending.

The time for talking about what has or has not occurred in the Congress is over and we must focus on cleaning these clowns’ clocks in November. Time enough to remember who they are and how they voted as we remove them from office.

A Tale Of Two Republican Parties.

March 5, 2010

On one side we have the party Conservatives. On the other we have the RINOs. You’ll notice there is no middle category here. I think that all but the densest, tunnel-visioned and hide-bound ‘old guard’ Republicans have figured out that the Patriot Movement (what they and the lame-stream press love to call ‘the Tea Baggers’) is no flash in the pan, and has just grown stronger despite the worst the leftist press and the Democrat spin machine (and some Republicans) could do to denigrate it and drive wedges into it. Their breathless characterization of a third party fell flatter than last week’s beltway champagne.

It is, by any measure, the new voice of the Republican party and, in point of fact, is not being controlled by the Party but is pulling the party along behind it. The new Conservative Republican party has a bright future, with a highly motivated and self-aware membership made up of solid conservative patriots who are determined that the principles of freedom that make this country great will be upheld.

President Reagan unknowingly describes the aims of the Patriot Movement:

We have come very close to losing our country. We might yet. The forces of freedom have been marshaled to stop the march to totalitarianism none too soon. We have some really promising rising stars in the party. Wholesome, grounded Conservatives like Wisconsin’s Paul Ryan, who single-handedly carved President Obama’s arguments to shreds at the health care summit. We have Michael Pence, John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Michelle Bachmann and others.

Then we have the RINOs. There is really no room for these people in our party going forward, their names are familiar to us all and the damage they have caused well known. Several are facing primary challenges as we speak, others will retire rather than face the just retribution of their constituents. Those who are not up for election this cycle such as Lindsey Graham (amnesty, green jobs, carbon tax) will be voted out next time around. John McCain faces a strong challenge in Arizona and none to soon. After all the damaging and totally wrong-headed stuff he has signed off on you’d think he’d learn. Now he’s out to try and regulate the vitamin and food supplement industry so that the government can destroy more private business. Maine’s Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins are two more that need to go.

The Democrat party is not the party of my grandparents, or my parents for that matter. It is a party of committed ideologues run by Leftists, Progressives, Marxists, Communists (name your poison), whose only goal is to fundamentally change this country into that of a socio-Marxist state. There are some principled people left in the party, albeit isolated and powerless. The very nature of the party mission does not permit dissent nor foster independent thinking or opinions. Those who do not march in lockstep with the leadership are treated as outcasts, in some instances given the treatment that resulted in Senator Joseph Lieberman leaving the party.

This is the face of the enemy. We have to win. There is no option.

This is why a new, vital Conservative Republican party is being forged.

Obama, What’s Next?

March 1, 2010

Obama is like a twelve year old whose skateboard and video game privileges have been taken away. His petulant attitude was in full bloom at the health care summit this week.

Eric Cantor and John Boehner, along with John McCain and other Republicans, made the Democrats look pretty silly at times. Every Democrat that spoke had to come out with the obligatory sad health care sob story, no matter how improbable. Rep. Louise Slaughter (D) NY told how one of her constituents had to wear her dead sister’s false teeth. I guess these Democrats have got to be collectively tone deaf, because they sure don’t hear themselves the way we hear them.

Conversely, I was totally impressed with Minority Leader John Boehner and the Republicans, their grasp of the bill and the solid refutations that they presented to President Obama, despite being held to a mere 110 minutes as opposed to a full 222 minutes for Obama and his Democrats, with the bulk of the time being taken up by President Obama continually interrupting Republicans when he didn’t like what he was being told, which was most of the time. His facade of bi-partisanship went out with his opening statement.

Obama closed the meeting with the admonition that he would hope to hear from Republicans within weeks, four or uhh, maybe six weeks. President Obama, don’t hold your breath. The Republicans stood their ground and did themselves proud. The longer this bill hangs around, the deader it looks and despite (The House Madam) Nancy Pelosi’s statement saying we would have a bill regardless, it’s looking more like the out-and-out voter rebellion has had its toll most especially on the so-called Blue Dog Democrats.

Look for the illegal immigration issue to lift its scaly snout again soon. The illegals and their advocate groups, such as the extremely radical La Raza, are planning a mass march on Washington.
This time they may find that they are met by a very large contingent of patriots.

Humbug – Obama Dog And Pony Phony.

February 26, 2010

Humbug is quaint Americana for something false, phony or underhanded.
President Obama was his usual arrogant self as he demonstrated bi-partisanship to the seventeen Congressional Republicans who attended his health care extravaganza.

Repeatedly interrupting Republican speakers and refuting factual representations made to him, the President’s idea of bi-partisanship comprised of one hundred and nineteen minutes of Obama-dominated campaign mode lecturing. The Washington Times stated he looked very professorial… a title he never held.

Republicans were held to a mere one hundred and ten minutes while the twenty one Democrats attending the meeting were allowed one hundred and fourteen minutes, during which they dredged up story after story of constituents medical woes in support of their boss, some of which stretched the imaginations of those present. It was the usual Democrat hysteria-inducing sob-story tactic we’ve all heard so many times before. You’d think they’d wise up to the fact that we’re on to it.

For the Republicans’ part they pretty much stuck to what they said they’d do, which was to stipulate that the entire piece of legislation should be scrapped and started over from scratch.

Eric Cantor with the 2,400 page Senate Health Care Bill.

Obama was also offended at Representative Eric Cantor (R) Virginia, for bringing the two thousand four hundred page health care bill to the meeting and prominently displaying the bill in front of him as he spoke. The President interrupted Republican speakers, refuting statements and giving somewhat unlikely anecdotes. At one point Obama got into a peeing match with Senator John McCain, where he petulantly quipped “We’re not campaigning here John”.

All in all, the Democrats not only didn’t cover themselves with glory, they looked pretty silly. The Democrats are trumpeting the use of the reconciliation process, since President Obama has said he wants an answer from the Republicans within six weeks, presumably giving Democrats enough time to see if they can come up with the requisite votes.

That’s not at all a done deal either, for all the Democrat bloviating.
Eric Cantor, the Minority House Whip, and his team have come up with some pretty solid calculations showing that the House Madame may only be able to come up with about 205 of the 217 votes she needs.
From your lips to God’s ears, Eric.

Demarxists Fear For Obamacare? Opposition Grows.

January 14, 2010

As if in sync with the cautionary statements coming from various quarters of the leftists’ Clown College, His Anointedness, Madame Pelosi and Dingy Harry emerged from another secretive closeted meeting at the once White House, to proclaim ‘significant’ progress towards melding the House and Senate versions of the bill. This three pony carnival doesn’t ring true with what we’re hearing and the herrings being trailed out there by the Demarxists, some coming from surprising and unlikely sources.

Charles Rangel

House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles Rangel (D-NY), “Forget all the other questions,….. We have serious problems on both sides of the Capitol”. “Serious problems”? Quite a statement from the normally party-line Rangel. A day earlier, Chris Dodd (D-Conn) stated, “Health care is hanging by a thread”. Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama both want heavy taxes placed on Cadillac and so-called millionaire’s plans. One is sure to anger Unions and be strongly opposed by those beholden to them and the other will generate much resistance from other interest groups. Sometimes you just can’t make anyone happy… except maybe the Republicans, who to their credit have stood virtually united against passage of this monstrosity.

The so-called blue dog Democrats, the ones that have sold out their votes and voters to the pressure of the administration, have been feeling the IMMENSE displeasure of their constituents and as a result have been seriously reconsidering their final vote despite the worst threats of the House Madame, Dirty Dingy Harry and the ever popular ‘Lurch’ of the administration, Rahm Emanuel. Deciding that any job may be better than no job and that “taking one for Obama”, may not really be in their best interests. It’s getting much harder for DeMarxist leaders to hold their votes together.

Eric Cantor

House Minority Whip Eric Cantor(R-Va), after meeting with members of his own conference said, “We are looking at THIRTY SEVEN Democrats that are in districts that are particularly upset and vulnerable to the provisions of this health care bill”. “Are they going to be with the people or are they going to be with Pelosi?”
Furthermore, aides who were present in the GOP conference said that House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) said, “The bottom line is, I believe we can beat this bill. The American people are with us”.
Well John, based on what we are seeing and hearing out here in everyman land I believe you’re RIGHT!! We have waited so long for leaders who will lead and fight and not back down to every little tinhorn Marxist out there.

If you folks want to see what BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA looks like if WE don’t stop him, just take a good long look at HUGO CHAVEZ.
For some time now I and many other Conservative writers, media people, both radio and television, have been urging YOU the American citizen, patriot, voter and taxpayer to rise up and say HELL NO! YOU CAN’T HAVE OUR COUNTRY!!
Guess what? It’s working! Your determination, your Herculean efforts are paying off.
Keep up the good work… God Bless you… God Bless this great country.
