Leadership… What Leadership?

October 14, 2012

This has been sticking in my craw for a long time, but it came to the forefront yesterday evening when I was listening to Mark Levin speaking to Michele Bachmann on his syndicated radio program. Michele Bachmann has been targeted not only by the Demarxists, but by her own party. Folks, this is just sick stuff.

Her opponent in this race is a typical lefty, spouting ‘moderate’ themes only to turn hard left once in office. The difference here is that Michele’s opponent, Jim Graves, has very deep pockets with an estimated worth of somewhere around 140 million dollars. He has pumped enormous amounts of his own money into his campaign effort. Michele has no such resources, other than the money contributed by her supporters. She’s no stranger to competition, having won her last four congressional election races.

She’s also no stranger to the Tea Party Patriots, having launched a very large Patriot gathering on the eve of the DeMarxists suborning the law and the Constitution, to pass the economy-breaking MaoBama care without a single Republican vote, behind closed and locked doors. This lady is as solid a Constitutional conservative as they come. So why hasn’t the RNC and its chairman, Reince Priebus, come to her support? Why, in the critical state of Minnesota, in a key district, doesn’t the Republican Party march en masse to support one of their own? As of the latest report I heard, not one dime had been forthcoming from the Republican National Party.

Mark Levin posited that we need look no farther than the Republican leadership. Most conservatives, by now, have come to the conclusion that our Republican leadership is about as useful as sun-baked rock, and about that smart as well. Mark stopped short of accusing John Boehner of being behind it. I have no such compunction. John Boehner is no conservative… not even close.

I think our leadership stinks in toto. They started from day one with their lousy deal-making and accommodation to the DeMarxists in the ‘spirit of bipartisanship’. They signed on to lousy deal after deal, some of which are now beginning to loom large on the horizon. These turkeys have completely forgotten or ignored the fact that it was the Tea Party Patriots that not only won the election for them… we stopped them from getting their clocks cleaned. It’s time for a total leadership change.

Michele Bachmann is not the only strong Constitutional conservative to be torpedoed by this bunch of self-seeking and self-aggrandizing establishment Republicans. The Republican establishment’s time has come and gone.

As Tea Party Patriots we have a few bigger fish to fry first. Most of you have felt the shift in momentum of this race. I believe the momentum has always been with us, and that the results of all of the local and state organizing is just now making itself felt. We’re on the verge of a huge victory. We can’t let up now. Mark Levin also asked his listeners to support Michele Bachman if they could… even a couple of bucks can help.
VICTORY!

Absurdity After Absurdity.

July 24, 2012

Between the lies of the Lame Stream Press and the lies of our glorious leader, there’s little to choose. The country is in horrific shape. The ‘recession’ looks far closer to a depression to me… and to a bunch of other people, too. Hold on to your hats and everything else because it’s nothing, absolutely nothing, to what’s coming if President Barack Hussein Obama manages to get re-elected.

What he, Reid, Pelosi and others have planned for you will be just a shade less onerous than Soviet-era Romania, with jack-booted thugs running around our airports, train stations and bus terminals. Stasi-like informers will be in every apartment block, after they manage to separate us from our property and force us into their high density ‘stacks’.

Our republic is as sorely beset from without as from within. The people running this country are purely, visibly anti-American. To be anti-American is to be anti-freedom… to be anti-freedom is to be someone else’s slave. That these people are driven by a discredited and disproved ideology, which has never been successful in any of its various manifestations, tells worlds about the mindset, or lack of, that permeates the left.

It’s going to take every single patriot getting themselves, and everyone else they can muster, to the polls to defeat this blight on our beloved country. Talk to your friends, your co-workers and family members. All but the thickest of them have figured out that there’s something radically wrong about the state of the economy. There’s not a person I know who hasn’t had at least one friend or acquaintance that has been layed off, and recently at that. California, just days ago, was braying to the media about a fractional decrease in an already obscene unemployment number… which will, of course, be raised again when the numbers are reviewed and analyzed as they always are.

Barack Obama and his Marxists are the obvious enemy of the republic. There are others perhaps less obvious, some in our own camp who, for reasons of their own, work against the wishes of the people and party that supports them and to whom they are responsible.

Michele Bachmann has showed immense courage by taking on the Muslim monster within. It’s about time, too. So, the first thing that happens is that John McCain and the ever-slimy Lindsey Graham have crawled out from under their rocks long enough to denounce Michele Bachmann over her comments regarding Hillary Clinton’s aid, who is Muslim. It seems that the lady in question has family members who have attachments to the Muslim Brotherhood. So it begs the question… Who scrubbed her security clearance? The State Department is a shambles at the best of times. I’ve written about the infiltration of our government at the highest levels by Muslims who have direct connections to terror organizations. How do these people get visas? How do they get clearance to visit our White House?

I see that Keith Ellison is in Bachmann’s sights, too. It’s about damned time somebody started asking some really pointed questions. How is it that CAIR has had hundreds of meetings at the White House? We really do need to dump RINO leftovers like McCain and Graham. This election should be interesting in that regard as well.
In the meantime, Patriots, keep the focus and keep up the pressure.

The Best Man For The Job Is A Woman.

August 14, 2011

The results of the Iowa straw poll are not surprising to those of us who have watched the Republican lineup with some interest. If nothing else, the outcome highlights the failure of the extreme left and the Republican establishment’s failure to destroy her… Sarah Palin is waiting in the wings, while the political winds sweep away some of the chaff.

Either one of these ladies is more than capable enough to sweep the so-called Tea-Party to victory in 2012. That’s precisely the reason that both Michele and Sarah have both been attacked viciously and repeatedly by people of low character, who mask their venom under the cloak of media journalism. They have sold their souls to the Marxists who are sworn to our destruction. They are no longer the American media… they are the statist press.

As far as the Republican establishment is concerned, there is reason for their open hostility towards both Michele and Sarah. They know that if either of these two mini power-houses reaches the presidency, their days of rolling over at the first hint of opposition and going along to get along will be finished.

This should be a huge eye opener for all. It’s an absolute measure of the leftists’ and the Republican establishment’s real fear of both of these Conservative ladies. If it came to a choice between these two, I’d be hard pressed to make a choice.

It’s wild to watch the establishment’s support of Mitt Romney, who is purported to be the national GOP leader at this point. I’m not so sure. Romney still has some really serious flaws. Specifically, he still has not dealt with the anchor around his neck in the form of the Romneycare issue. His avoidance of the issue only makes him appear arrogant.

Rick Perry has thrown his hat in the ring… at last. Perry is another one who may please the establishment types. Some leftist types are singing his praises, a sure sign that he’s the one they want to run against. Perry has fatal political liabilities… his weakness on illegal immigration and his attempt to force the citizens of Texas to have their 11 and 12 year-old daughters inoculated for a cervical cancer virus transmitted by sexual activity. His advocacy of a trans-Texas super highway from Mexico has won him no friends among conservatives. I think his candidacy will falter when these things become common knowledge.

Ron Paul is Ron Paul… and the Paul ‘brownshirts’ were out in force, as usual. He doesn’t have a prayer of a chance. The Pawlenty ship never left the dock.

I’d like to know why Rick Santorum is being shunted to the side. I don’t think he can win and I have questions about where he stands on certain issues, but he should be heard. I don’t think Herman Cain can win either, but I really like the guy and I hope he sticks around. Hunter and McCotter are finito.

It’s going to be a really wild race. Don’t fall for the party BS. Stay focused on the goal in front of us.

Editor’s note: Tim Pawlenty just announced, on ABC’s ‘This Week’, that he has dropped out of the race.

Chris Wallace – Hero Or Heel?

July 3, 2011

That it was another brutal work week can be testified to by the absence of articles on my part. It’s a statement of the times were are living through that just having all of our crews working counts as a huge success. We’ve slashed our rates to the bone and are taking a much lower profit margin (whoops, there’s the left’s mantra… evil profit) just to get the work in to keep our people busy.

I know one contractor who told me that he had taken several jobs virtually at cost, just to keep his people employed. We consoled each other, noting that our respective doors remained open and that there are many companies who are no longer around at all.

This obviously has nothing at all to do with Chris Wallace and his unpardonable treatment of GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann. I’ve never much cared for Chris Wallace for a number of reasons, some of which I’ll address in this article.

I have an abiding love for real, factual and substantiated news reporting by historically grounded, unbiased reporters and commentators. I used to think that Mr Wallace was at least somewhat fair and unbiased. That illusion was dispelled when, at the tail end of an exclusive interview with Michele Bachmann, he played one of journalism’s cheapest and most tawdry stunts… he posited the totally unwarranted and obnoxious question, “Are you a flake?”

Then, realizing his buffoon-like statement had badly miscarried, he sort of mumbled into his chin, “Well, that’s what they’re saying out there”. His speech and demeanor revealed that he knew he had stepped in it, and was frantically trying to scrape it off by doing the ‘beltway shuffle’. By this time he knew that he had teed off Michele, as her reply utterly demolished Wallace and made him look like the first-class chump he’s turned out to be.

Hey, Chris… you want to talk about qualifications? Let’s stack yours up against Bachmann’s. No contest. Chris, this lady has more going for her in her little finger than you will ever have. Your smarmy little first-year journalistic punk-stunt backfired, didn’t it Chrissy boy? Chris Wallace is a tool of the establishment GOP, though you won’t find anyone at Fox or around the establishment ‘Repubics’ (thanks, Mark Levin) who will say so.

What you did manage, Chris… and the polls confirm… was to solidify Conservative support for Michele Bachmann. The Conservative base and the Tea Party patriots are swinging more and more to her banner. And by the way, Chris, I like the way she left you to dangle while you scrambled to cheap out on an apology… first with that statement that cheaply reiterated the word ‘flake’ as part of the text. Nice try, Chris. Then he boobs it on over to Facebook and tries to get out of it by apologizing there.

That Michele Bachmann finally accepted Mr Wallace’s direct phone apology only after he had a twelve course crow dinner is a tribute to her class… and a remarkable insight into Chris Wallace’s classlessness.

Lame Stream Media Circus.

June 1, 2011

If the so-called Main Stream Media, whom I and others have chosen to re-label ‘The Lame Stream Media’, thought they had reached new heights of comedic journalistic slap-stick… they’re right. The vision of the ‘press’ frantically trying to second guess Sarah Palin as she takes them on a wild game of ‘Fox and Hounds’ is just too funny.

A couple of sound bites I picked up went something like… “and she didn’t even send us an itinerary”… and “we don’t know where she is”. Possibly, the most impacted by the dearth of Palin first-hand reportage is Andrea Mitchell, who seemingly has been basing her career on Palin bashing. Well, when it’s all ya’ got…

There is a move afoot, amongst the Lames, to pit Sarah Palin against Michele Bachmann. Michele Bachmann adroitly avoided the loaded questions and innuendo tossed at her in this all too obvious ploy. There is no surer indication of the abject fear which these two women generate in the DeMarxists than the incessant battering by the Lames and their bosses over at the DNC.

Then let us not forget the White House and their vested auxiliaries, the so-called public service unions, who have also repeatedly attacked both of these women viciously, in such a manner that if it had been a Conservative making those attacks they would be instantly pilloried.

All of our Republican candidates, and anyone who even looks like they might be one, can expect an anal exam the likes of which they’d never imagined. Still, after all they have done to personally ruin both of these women and their families… both have become even stronger. Sort of like the Tea Party movement, and it’s as true today… we just keep getting stronger.

We could do far worse than to have either of these fine ladies in high office. One look at the White House and it’s readily apparent that we have.

Stir The Soup.

April 18, 2011

There’s an old saying out there, ‘We don’t light the fire, we just stir the soup’. Last week, on the 13th, I wrote that there was a strong affinity for Donald Trump among the Patriot Movement. Apparently, some out there took this as an endorsement of Mr Trump for a presidential run. While there’s no doubt that Mr Trump would be incalculably better than the Marxist incompetent we’re trying to prevent from destroying our nation outright, it was not an endorsement of Donald Trump.

While he undoubtedly has many attributes that are badly needed by our side, he’s also going to be wearing a huge target on his back. They’ll go after him like they’ve gone after Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann. Not that I think that Donald Trump is unable to take care of himself. As he has proven on numerous occasions, he’ll stand up and go toe-to-toe with just about anybody. The reason they’ll attack him is the same as Michele and Sarah. The reason the left is going after these two ladies is that they are absolutely terrified by them. Could you see any of the leftists debating any of these three people in any setting that wasn’t rigged by the Lame Stream Media? No, I can’t either.

The ‘Repubic’ (thank you, Mark Levin) establishment… which could be called the anal establishment, to judge by their actions if not their characters, is none too happy about them either, and would and are doing everything their warped pea-brains can cook up to discredit and marginalize anyone who threatens their stupid, hidebound, hierarchical thinking. Their way of doing things and their inability to confront Democrats for years, in anything other than losing compromise, is largely responsible for the situation we find ourselves in.

We’re sick and tired of the Republican intransigence when it comes to the Patriotic Reformation sitting on their doorsteps. These old fools have been sitting out on the sidelines lining their careers while the country went to hell under their ‘expert’ management, and are trying to get us to do much the same again.

I’m not sure how the Republican race is going to shake out. No one in their right mind will be at this stage. Besides, there’s lots of agitprop and misdirection out there as well. Easy to spot… just check out any LSM outlet. Meanwhile, keep your eye focused on the goals we have laid out… fiscal discipline, smaller constitutional government, border security, national defense.

Paul Ryan’s plan isn’t perfect, but it’s a great first step. It takes six trillion dollars out of the income stream of the US Government and out of the hands of the Marxists, which since Obama came to office are largely one and the same. We have to keep our own people from bargaining and compromising it all away. Now, that’s a crying shame.

Don’t take your eyes off of them for a second. It’s sad we have to watch our own as much, or more, than we do the enemy.

GOP Leadership – Where Do We Go From Here?

July 19, 2010

I’m hoping against hope that the leadership of the Republican Party isn’t sitting back, smugly waiting for the DeMarxists to self destruct. Actually, the Republicans have more experience at that than the DeMarxists ever have.

An early appearance by the GOP elephant, in this 1874 cartoon by Thomas Nast.

Like many others, I’ve watched the Grand Old Party completely dismantle a virtual sure thing on more than one occasion. The last time they were in power was such a miserable example of total disregard for the oft-repeated warnings of dire consequences coming from their own base, that it’s actually painful to remember. It’s strongly reminiscent of the regime in Washington right now, marching ahead with blinders on, regardless of the will of the people or the dire warnings of its own DeMarxist commissars.

The issue back then was the same as now. I hate to pile on poor old George Bush again, but with bullet-proof majorities he failed to stop the out-of-control spending of his Congress. It was clearly a leadership issue, and that leadership issue and the ramifications of that failure are with us today.

One of the big hurdles the Republican leadership have to get over is just that… convincing the considerable numbers of Republican, Conservative and Independent voters who still, to this day, have an endemic distrust of what they judge to be ‘the same old failed GOP leadership’. The ones who continually support candidates that the grassroots will not support. The same ones who refuse to recognize that the power in the Republican party has shifted out of Washington, and now rests within the hands of the millions of members of the Conservative Patriot movement. Ignore us at your peril. And no, we’re not buying into the ‘third party trap’ that got Billary elected. Plainly speaking, third parties are for chumps and moon-gazing lightweights.

There are some bright lights in the Republican lineup… Jim DeMint, Pete Sessions, Eric Cantor, Mike Pence, Kevin McCarthy and Paul Ryan. There are others as well. Let us not forget the ladies, principally Michele Bachmann, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer and Sarah Palin, who is shaping up to be a powerhouse in her own right. Then there is Sharron Angle, who is giving Dingy Harry Reid nightmares. These Conservative ladies are tough and scrappy. The leadership should take notice.
That’s what we are talking about!

Paul Ryan, in conjunction with some of the other ‘young guns’, has introduced a Conservative road map for the country. The GOP leadership should give it serious consideration. Is it perfect? No. But have we seen anything better or more coherent come out of the Republican leadership? No. It’s sure as heck a great starting point. Speaking of starting… the Kagan nomination would be a great place to make a stand. Whether it’s successful or not, it would show the American people that at least someone in the leadership has some testicular fortitude… which has been sporadic.

The Republicans have a long, tough row to hoe between now and November. Along the way, they’re going to have to convince us they can provide the Conservative leadership it’s going to take to turn around this disastrous Marxist march to mediocrity and economic slavery.
